Casio Men's 'G Shock' Quartz Resin Casual Watch, Color:Black (Model: DW-5600HR-1CR)
It’s nice to see Casio releasing somewhat conservative yet fashionable G-Shock colorways like this new Black and Red Series. This black and red motif takes it cue from sneaker fashion and would be the ultimate match for a pair of black and red Air Jordans. The watches in this collection have bands with a two-color molding for a different color on the outer and inner bands, a feature that has become common with recent G-Shock releases. The split between the contrasting colors of the dual layers can be seen from the side of the band and gives the watch a unique look when viewed at an angle. The Black and Red Series watches feature black bodies and bands with red bezel lettering (on most) and a red inner band.
With the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.
Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward.See all Product description
